Is Nigeria winning the war against Boko Haram?

Recently the Nigerian military announced they have gained a lot of grounds against the dreaded terrorist group, boko haram. All the local government areas formerly under the control of the terrorist group have been recovered by the military. People are going back to their homes, even though in fear. There are still a pocket of resistance from the group, but they have resorted more to their old ways of suicide bombers. Recently an audio message by their once combative leader Alhaji Shekau came out urging the groups fighters to give up and that he was ready to negotiate. But the military dismissed the audio as a deceptive move to enable the group regroup, which I completely agree with. The military is presently clearing the Sambisa forest and capturing a lot of the groups leaders, even the deputy to the groups hierarchy. The food and military supply has been considerably cut off. This has made the group come out often to steal from villages. The military is really winning.
The military should be commended for this success, but one issue remains. An issue that actually caused an uproar around the world and brought countries together in the fight against the group. "The Chibok girls"
Where are they? What did the group do with them? Recently, a video showing 15 of them was leaked. That revealed to the world that there is a negotiation going on between the group and government. If the military can find those girls, that is when Nigerians will truly believe the war is won.
