POWER GENERATION IN NIGERIA CRUMBLED TO ZERO

Nigeria's power generation collapsed on Thursday at exactly 12.58pm to zero megawatt. Zero megawatt. I know you are wondering how this is possible. Well that's not the end of the story. This situation lasted for 3hours. Three good hours. I know my audience is wondering how this can be. Well, welcome to Nigeria. The land where everything is possible. The effect of corruption. Unfulfilled promises by politicians. How can a country live in darkness? Nigerians can tell you how to. Billions of dollars have been pumped into this sector, but instead of going into the projects, it has gone into private pocket. This is a video of the situation I encountered at the Murtala Mohammed international Airport in Nigeria. There was no power and we had to trip on people's foot and fanning ourselves because it was crazily hot in there.

Vulnerable President Trump

Among all the Presidential candidates in the U.S presidential campaign, the most vulnerable candidate is Donald Trump. Within a space of three hours he changed his position on abortion three times. While the world is trying to reduce the number of countries with nuclear capabilities, Trump said he will allow more countries to acquire nuclear weapon, including Saudi Arabia. I think Donald Trump does not think before he talk, which is one of the attributes of a good speaker. But being that he had enough time to prepare for the interview and with the number of advisers he has around him, why is he fumbling so much? These are the same people that will form the crux of his government. Is he not a Presidential material? Me thinks so. He is too rash to be a president, not to talk the president of the United States Of America. What a president he will be. I have said this before, America does not need a radical or fanatical president. Every word that has come from the man has been full of scandal. Yet people follow him. He is still leading the GOP presidential race. Like the Japanese representative at the nuclear summit said, that Japan is watching. The whole world is also watching the race.

Trumpet for President

I have said it before and I am saying it again, it will be hilarious if Donald Trump ever, ever becomes the President of the United State of America. A man that cannot stand on anything he ever said. He is a pro lifer, yet he is not a pro lifer. The three functions of government are Security, health  and Education and security, security security. His supporters say he is not a politician thats why he is not able to talk like them. He does a lot of umm when he talks. Yes I agree with them he is not, that is why America does not need somebody like him to be President. He will be a mockery to the greatness of the United States. He is so uncoordinated for a President. He does not give direct answers to questions. His ideas and policies are not clear. He doesn't seem to know how government is run. His populist ideas are what people want to hear but that is an occupational hazard to the Republican party. He will destroy the party if he continues this way. The only thing consistent about him is that he is so inconsistent. He sounds like a trumpet at times Just blowing sound, and changing tone as soon as you try to settle to the first tone. How anybody thinks someone like that is fit to be the president of a great country like USA baffles me. He abuses and allows women to be abused. He encourages violence by his supporters. He thinks he is still in the entertainment industry. He does not know what he is trying to do is straight business. I am watching to see how Americans can allow this mockery to happen. The whole world is watching.

Unbelievable. What will make you ask a terrorist for a Selfie? I can't comprehend that. What of if he was a real terrorist? I bet this young man would have been dead for wanting fifteen minutes of fame. The world is going crazy. I will not advice this at all for any reason

Trump for President, LOL

Trump becoming the President of U.S. will be a mockery to the U.S. He cannot have a decent five minutes interaction without using incentives. All the stuff he is claiming he will do will not go through Senate or the House. For the rest of his Presidency he will be busy fighting the national assembly instead of moving America forward. America will loose it's greatness and allies. No ally will support his lofty and unreasonable ideas. In as much as we hate politics and politicians, politics still rules, and makes the world more moderate. People like Trump will not succeed in that world. America is too big for radicalism. He might be a successful business man but he will not be a successful President. World leaders will isolate him. No country can make it alone. Instead of making America great as he claims, he will "ungreat" (my invention) America. Leaders will walk out from meetings with him. America is not Celebrity Apprentice. Anyway Trump will never be President.

Does it mean he is no longer a member of the night watch. Does this picture help solve the mystery of his death in season 5. The Throne watchers are hoping so. WINTER IS COMING HAS REACHED FEVER PITCH

For Game of Throne lovers, the wait has reached fever pitch. Come April 24th it is expected that the TV show by HBO will break viewing records. The Throne lovers are mostly waiting to confirm one news, WHAT IS THE FAITH OF JOHN SNOW? Is he alive or is he dead? If he is alive, is he going to retaliate against the men of the night watch that betrayed him? or will he be naïve and let them live? Lets wait and see. What is the faith of Khaleesi? Will she be able to rally the Dothraki behind her, or is their a possibility that Kal Drogo is alive? I heard from the grape vine that it is a possibility. what will be her faith if he is? Lets wait and see

Nigerian Astronaut will land in space by 2030

I read in the Nigerian Dailies that Nigerian astronaut will land in space by 2030 as said by Ogbonaya Onu. By all account that is a good thing. But first things first. Feed Nigerians, make fuel available for them, create jobs for them, give Nigerians light or on that day as the rocket will be preparing to launch, NEPA might take light and the computers will be down. How will this astronauts make it. Even when they do make it, how will they relay back messages when there is no light. Ok, generators. But the not everybody will see it happen because not every Nigerian has generators and for those who have , Fuel might be too costly for them to buy to watch this great event. By the time they are able to buy fuel the event will be over.
CAVEAT; I know Nigerian politicians are already thinking about the possibilities and opportunities this project might bring, like hiding their loot in space.

The news making the rounds now is that boko haram leader Shekau has surrendered in a new video. My take on this is if its tru, 1, Let him release the chibok girls. 2, I think he has lost control of the group. 3, He knows the right people to call and surrender to. 4, He's is feeling the pressure of the bombardment, hopes this will slow down the military so they can regroup. 5, I have not seen the video. I have been researching the internet for it. I only saw an audio on YouTube. 6, Nobody should trust him, even when he comes out from the forest with his arms raised. He might be laced with bombs. He has to be stark naked before anybody goes closer to him. 7, And finally, how do we know he is the right one. After all he has been "killed" so many times before

Is APC really ready for governance?

Its a pity that Nigeria's economic revival by the APC led government is now hinged on speculation and hope. Speculating and hoping that oil price will go up. Everything is amiss in the country. The country's oil Minister who also manages the National oil company has just informed Nigerians that fuel scarcity will last till May and he is not a magician. His exact words were "One of the training I did not receive is that of a MAGICIAN but I am working very hard to ensure some of these issues go away" This is ludicrous coming from one of the men who we trust to manage and revive the country's economy. Nigeria is the highest producer of oil in Africa, yet its people can't find fuel to buy.
CBN on its part looks more confused than the oil industries. Inflation has risen from 9% to 11%. Foreign currencies have skyrocketed, to such a high that I wonder how importers are ever going to make profit. so how does the masses survive, being that we import 95% of everything we use in the country. We hear about bank rates, but there is no foreign currency to give out. The CBN has made policies, reversed the policies, made new policies , reversed them. What impression will this leave in the mind of Foreign Investors, with all these policy reversals.
I don't even want to talk about the epileptic power supply. From 4000 down to 1500megawatts. Isn't that laughable. Nothing seems to be working for this government. I bet President Buhari did not have any economic plans when he was campaigning. He just rode on the wind of change, not knowing what level of complexity the Nigerian economy was. As he fights his corruption war, I wish him luck. But hinging his hope on recovered looted funds helping tackle the deficit in the 2016 budget is a big joke. These political criminals will use court injunctions to delay their trials until Buhari leaves. I hope he is able to institutionalize the fight on corruption before he leaves. I say before he leaves because I know he will not get a second term. Nigerians who put him there are already disillusioned by his governments lack of direction. So come 2019 he will not be returned as the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria. Unless he performs some magic in the economy. But someone in his government has already told us that he is not a magician, I guess Buhari is not too.

Everything

I have been wanting to do this, but as the professional procrastinator that I am I would always say tomorrow. And my tomorrow has lasted for a good five years which was when I opened my fist blog. I posted a few stuff in that blog, found other passion and forgot about it. Five years after I try to locate it and start blogging, but it was no longer there. As if it will be there waiting for me. And here I am again, blogging. I will be writing about everything, Sports, especially football, Politics, Governance, Economy and everything that I come across that is interesting. I am highly opinionated, so certain things I write might be inciting, some might be incisive, but in the end there must be something you can take away from it or nothing at all. The guys at work tell me I am a good listener and I think I give some very good advice sometimes. So if you have any issues, table it to me and I might be able to say something that might help or totally throw you off. Either way I tried and you tried too. There is no harm in trying. In life we will make mistakes, we will fall, but what matters is that we get up, fall again, get up again, so on and so forth until we find a way to stand and never fall again. Are mosquitoes relevant?

Can someone tell me why Mosquitoes were created. What purpose they serve to man and animal. If evolution is true, how did mosquitoes evolve? What did they evolve from? Are they eventually going to grow bigger and bigger and bigger? That's a scary thought. I have over a thousand questions on this topic, but I guess it's waste of time talking about it. I will let it go for now, just for now, but I will continue to trouble my head in my silent moment about it.
